DO NO HARM

Naturopathic doctors strive to use substances & interventions that are minimally toxic and invasive.  This includes both use of conventional medicines (when working in a state licensed for naturopathic medicine), as well as nutrition and alternative modalities.

FIND AND ADDRESS CAUSE

This principle involves addressing the root issues of a health concern, versus only suppressing signs and symptoms.

She helps her clients to understand how they reached their state of "dis"ease and how to support the body's innate ability to heal and repair.

DOCTOR IS TEACHER

Much of what we do as naturopathic doctors has its foundation in educating others throughout their recovery process.  This education includes connecting the dots of how one reached their state of "dis"ease.  Our training also involves teaching patients and clients how to incorporate the needed diet, lifestyle, and other other relevant changes.

NATURE HEALS

The "nature heals" principle guides the naturopathic doctor's support of the human body's innate design and ability to correct imbalance and dysfunction.

She helps her clients to put all of the pieces of their health story together, for a holistic approach to the root causes.

ADDRESS THE WHOLE PERSON

When we address health, we must look at the physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and social aspects of a person.  They are all deeply connected and changes in one area affects the other.

She helps her clients to take a proactive approach to their health, longevity, and quality of life.

PREVENTION IS KEY

There are numerous risk factors for chronic illness that can be minimized and even circumvented in many cases.  Naturopathic medicine has a focus on helping patients and clients to take proactive and preventative measures with your health.
